Pantone Color of the Year Inspired Mood Board

For the past 18 years, Pantone Inc. has chosen a specific color to represent the "Color of the Year." (Think secret meetings and discussions, ooh la la.)  For 2017, that appointed color is Greenery. A bright and lively yellow-green.

While green isn't always my go-to choice for first picks, I felt inspired to create a mood board around this special color.

I wanted to create something that represented not only the nature that Greenery makes us think about but the different environments that we might find it. Sure, forests and jungles are lush with green foliage, but what about downtown?

To me, this mood board represents Greenery's ability to thrive anywhere, even in the concrete jungle. It's a beautiful color that symbolizes growth, life, and renewal. And I feel like this color set and mood board gives the Color of the Year 2017 a clean and modern home.
